SACHA KLJESTAN NAMED to 2008 MLS BEST XI: Chivas USA midfielder and Huntington Beach native Sacha Kljestan was appointed Saturday to the MLS Best XI, an annual prize recognizing the Major League Soccer top 11 players at each position on the field - a goalie, three defenders, five midfielders and two forwards. The Best XI States received the most votes in the media, MLS players and MLS coaches and general managers. Kljestan, who was also appointed Chivas USA MVP 2008 and won the team Budweiser Golden Boot as the team leading mark, is the second player to be named Chivas USA at Best XI, after goalkeeper Brad Guzan earned the honor in 2007.
